Laser vaporization is the most effective method for treating of persistent, infectious and painful plantar warts.

Generally, a local anesthetic is utilized to numb the area and eliminate discomfort. The wart is then vaporized using a focused light beam produced by laser technology.

Following vaporization, the patient will usually return to their regular footwear and activities promptly. The treated area (wart/verrucae) will develop a crusty dark scab that will sluff off in about two weeks.

Most lesions can be resolved in one treatment, depending on the number, location and size - but some lesions may require additional treatment.
